1. Terms of use
What we provide
Create comparison sheets, charts and rankings, and save them as images. Choose Public, Unlisted or Private visibility, and take part in Community ratings. Some features use browser storage or anonymous authentication sessions.
Free features
Current core creation, local saving, image export, publishing and Community features are free. The service has no paid checkout or payment feature. If this changes, any price and conditions will be shown before use.
Acceptable use
Do not publish infringing material, harass others, expose personal information without permission, impersonate others, attempt unauthorized access, spam or manipulate ratings. Only publish material you have the right to use.
Your content
You generally retain the rights to your work. Publishing permits Stats Maker to store, display, share and generate previews of that work as needed to provide the service. Names, designs and software remain the property of their respective rights holders.
Copy & rate (Remix)
When a work offers the copy feature, you may copy its title, description, targets and rating criteria into your own sheet and enter your own scores. The original scores and creator-local images are not copied; the source-work reference is retained. By publishing a work, its creator permits the copies and displays needed for this feature. This does not grant rights to reuse third-party copyrighted material or trademarks beyond applicable permission or law. Respect others' rights if you publish your copy.
Visibility and backups
Public works may appear in listings and search. Unlisted works are hidden from lists but accessible to anyone with the link. Private works are generally visible only to their creator. Local data may be lost if browser data is cleared or a device fails; keep backups.
Moderation and availability
We may review, restrict or remove problematic public content. A report does not automatically remove a work. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect preservation of data or complete accuracy. Mandatory legal protections still apply.
Service and terms changes
The service may be changed, paused or discontinued. Updates to these terms will be posted here with an updated date and any additional notice required by the change. Use the contact form for questions or moderation appeals.
Governing law and disputes
The service is generally operated under Japanese law. This does not override mandatory consumer protections or other applicable rights in your location. Please contact us first about a dispute; unresolved matters will be handled under applicable law.
2. Privacy policy
Operator and requests
Stats Maker is an individually operated web service. Use the form below for inquiries, information about the operator and requests to access, correct or delete personal data. Operator identity/address details and request procedures required by applicable law will be provided after reviewing the request in accordance with that law.
Information collected and how
Drafts and settings are primarily stored in your browser. Publishing saves titles, descriptions, target and score snapshots, visibility settings and creator identifiers to Supabase. Community participation stores an anonymous user identifier, ratings and submission state.
Reports and contact requests store the selected reason/category, message, work URL and reply email when provided, anonymous user identifier and review status. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, connection and security data when traffic reaches the site.
Purposes and access
We use data to provide sharing, Community summaries, support, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Public works display the creator's published rating results and snapshots to visitors. Individual Community participant ratings, reports and support messages are not publicly readable. Community summaries are shown only when their display conditions are met.
Service providers, storage and cookies
We use Cloudflare for delivery and abuse protection, Supabase for works, authentication and contact records, and jsDelivr for essential frontend scripts. Your IP address and browser information may reach these providers during visits, sign-in or script loading, and may be processed outside Japan. Browser storage holds works, settings and authentication sessions. Google Analytics 4 is currently disabled. Live advertising and associated ad tracking are not enabled; ad layouts are development-only previews.
Retention and your options
You can manage data stored in your browser. Cloud records and messages are kept as needed for service operation, support and abuse prevention; retention periods depend on the type of data. To request access, correction or deletion, use the form below. We may ask for details to verify identity and identify the relevant records.
Security
We use protected connections, database access controls, restrictions on public access to private inquiries and limits on repeated submissions. You may ask about applicable security measures using the form below.
International users and analytics choice
If analytics are enabled in future, you will be offered an accept/decline choice before the analytics script loads. Declining will not prevent core use of the site. We will review applicable regional rules and service-provider consent requirements before adding advertising or analytics for visitors abroad.
Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated date and any additional notice required.
3. Copyright, takedown & appeals
To raise a rights complaint, use “Report this work” on a Public work or this form. Include the work URL, your connection to the rights, what content you believe infringes, an explanation of the rights, and a reply email. File attachments are not supported; do not upload identity documents or other sensitive proof into the message field.
We review requests and may seek more information or consider restricting content. To appeal removal or restriction, select “Moderation appeal” and provide the affected URL and reasons. We do not automatically delete content following an allegation or guarantee a response deadline.
4. Private contact form
Use this form for help, privacy requests, copyright notices and moderation appeals. Messages are not public. A reply email is optional for general questions but required for copyright claims, moderation appeals and privacy requests.
